30 in 30 Raffle Terms & Conditions
1. General Information
All proceeds benefit Northshore Home Builders Association (NHBA), a 501(c)(6) non-profit organization. Raffle is void where prohibited. Any purchased ticket is non-refundable under any circumstances. All prizes are new, factory-made firearms. For a complete list of firearms available in this raffle, visit https://nhba.cpjam.com/2026-Rapid-Fire.
2. Tickets
Equal Odds for Every Drawing: This raffle is based on a maximum of 1,000 numbered tickets. To ensure every firearm drawing offers the same odds, all 1,000 ticket numbers—both sold and unsold—will be included in every drawing. After each firearm is awarded, the winning ticket number is returned to the drawing drum before the next drawing. As a result, every drawing is independent, and each sold ticket has the same chance of being selected for every firearm. Because winning tickets are returned to the drawing, a single ticket may win multiple firearms. If an unsold ticket number is drawn, no prize is awarded for that drawing, and the drawing proceeds to the next scheduled firearm. Tickets will be sold at $50.00 each. There is no limit to the number of tickets one can purchase. Tickets are available for purchase beginning September 1, 2026, and will be available until December 31, 2026, or until sold out. Tickets are not tax deductible.
3. Eligibility
You must be 18 years of age and a legal resident of the United States to purchase a ticket. Winning ticket holders must be at least 18 years old to take possession of a rifle or shotgun and at least 21 years old to take possession of a handgun. By purchasing a raffle ticket, you attest that you are a law-abiding citizen, may legally possess the firearm(s) won, intend to use the firearm(s) only in a legal and safe manner, and will or have already obtained instruction on the safe use and operation of the firearm(s) won.
4. Drawings
Drawings will begin January 5, 2027, starting at 12:00 p.m. at American Outdoors, 2009 Ronald Reagan Hwy, Covington LA 70433. Winning ticket numbers are obtained from a LIVE IN-PERSON DRAWING (NOT FACEBOOK LIVE). Winners will receive the firearm corresponding to the firearm that is drawn for that ticket number. Winning ticket numbers are eligible for the remaining drawings of raffle prizes and will go back into the pool. You can win more than once per ticket. NHBA and American Outdoors reserve the right to draw early or late for any scheduled prize due to scheduling conflicts.
5. Winner Notification and Publicity
Winners will be contacted privately by phone or email. As purchasing or winning a firearm is personal information, to protect the winner’s identity, only winning numbers (not names) will be posted on NHBA’s and American Outdoors’s Facebook pages. If NHBA is unable to contact the winner, it is the sole responsibility of the winning ticket holder to contact NHBA or American Outdoors to claim their prize. You need not be present to win.
6. Claiming Prizes
All prizes must be claimed, and transfers completed, within 90 days of the scheduled drawing date. Transfers will be done by American Outdoors at 2009 Ronald Reagan Hwy, Covington LA 70433. Unclaimed prizes will be forfeited to NHBA to be redrawn or held for future drawings. If you cannot or do not want to own a firearm, after claiming your prize you may transfer your winning ticket to someone who can or wants to own one.
7. Taxes and Transfers
Winners are solely responsible for all applicable federal, state, and local taxes associated with the prize, including any sales, use, transfer, or income taxes required by law. The retail value of each firearm constitutes taxable income to the winner to the extent required by applicable law. Participants and winners are encouraged to consult their own tax advisor regarding the tax consequences of winning a prize. The raffle sponsor assumes no responsibility for any tax obligations incurred by a winner.
8. Firearm Rules & Transfers
All firearms are subject to availability at the time of the drawing; NHBA and American Outdoors reserve the right to make substitutions of equal or greater value. All firearms transfers will be conducted through a Federal Firearms Licensed (FFL) dealer. All Federal, State, and Local laws apply, including those of the winner’s state of residence. If a winner cannot take possession in Covington, LA, they must arrange transfer with an FFL dealer in their state. All costs related to taxes, paperwork, transfer, and/or shipping are the responsibility of the winning ticket holder.
9. Legal & Liability
NHBA and American Outdoors make no warranty of firearms. Winners must deal directly with the manufacturer for any issues. NHBA and American Outdoors make no claims of suitability or purpose of firearms won. Liability is limited to the purchase price of the ticket.
